Must Win Game Against Caley Thistle
The Dons have now played four SPL games this season earning only one point and no goals. Today's visitors to Pittodrie are Caley Thistle and this really is a must win game for Craig Browns men. I along with every other Dons fan would like to see 3 points secured and the first goal of the season scored. On a good note there has been some positive performances from certain players but a severe lack of clinical finishing in front of goal although we have hit the woodwork on a number of occasions.
Dons manager Craig Brown has been told he can still add to his squad before the transfer window closes which is much needed to help the Dons cause. The Dons are carrying on negotiations with Algerian striker Mohamed Chalali and hope to have a deal worked out with the striker pretty soon. The amount of restrictions will mean he won't be available to play in the Caley thistle game but could feature against Dundee.According to Pa Broon he will make eight signings in total which means we should see Chalali and one other player arive before the window closes, hopefully another striker. Maceo Rigters is still at the club but he also has offers from Australia so may not sign for the Dons but we will just have to wait and see. In other news Peter Pawlett is very unlikely to play in todays game after picking up a knock in the Aberdeenshire evening express cup but let's hope he's back next week.
The last thing I'd like to say today is pull your sark sleeves up today lads, get the 3 points and let's get our season started. COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!
