Aberdeen v Dundee ( league cup preview )
Aberdeen will take on Dundee in the League Cup tomorrow night at Pittodrie with a fresh feel of optimism after a win against Caley Thistle at the weekend. The Dons are likely to be without Youll Mawene after he had a slight pull of his hamstring at the weekend and also the star of Saturday's game Rob Milsom with a bit of groin strain. Craig Brown has also confirmed that welsh international Jason Brown will definitely start in goals for the Dons. The Dons may have one or two other changes from the weekend according to Craig Brown and one of those may be new signing Mohamed Chalali. The Paris born Algerian international will fly back from Greece tomorrow with all of the necessary paperwork and will officially be a Dons player. Craig Brown has said that he may well play the striker at some point during the game so we will get our first glimpse of our newest signing.
Dundee will not make the game easy and we should definitely take it as a walk over. We need to carry on with the winning form of Saturday and start to build a bit of momentum to give us confidence with the Rangers game coming up. If we can get a good cup run and start to move up the league I'm sure those Dons fans who have left the terraces will return. But remember a good fan will stick by his/her team through good and bad so let's get behind the Dons and have a season to remember.
My prediction for tomorrow night will be 3-1 to the Dons but I'll settle for any result that sees the Dandies go through to the next round. COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!!!!
