Aberdeen fc transfer updates and rumours

Morning Dons fans, Well another season over and more disappointment to deal with but plenty to look forward to next season. Let's look at the ins and outs so far and any rumors I've heard on the net and elsewhere.

We all know the players who have been shown the door to Todders include Gavin Ray, Rob Milsom, Rory Fallon, Isac Osbourne, Gary Naysmith, Stephen Hughes, and Mitch Megginson amongst others. All in all Derek McInnes had ditched 12 players and given big Josh Magennis a new 1 year deal.
By far the best piece of business the new manager has done is to extend Niall McGinn's contract. The prolific Irishman has signed a 2 year extension to his current contract and is eying silverware with the Dons next season.

Yesterday we found out that Dundee Utd midfielder Willo Flood has signed and according to a source of mine Barry Robson has also signed but it's been kept quiet until next week. If the info is true McInnes has made 2 very strong signings that will definately help to strengthen the starting 11.
Other rumours I have heard have seen players like Craig Gordon, Kevin McNaughton, David Goodwillie  and even Michael Higdon on there way to todders.
So there are plenty of rumours and so far just 2 actual contract extensions and 1 confirmed new addition but in the weeks ahead I think we could be in for a few surprises.

Let's just hope that next season is the one where the Dons end the drought and add some new silverware to the trophy cabinet.
