A LOOK AHEAD TO THE NEW SEASON
This is my first post for some time but I am back and eager to get the new season started. Aberdeen FC have already kicked of the pre-season and have beat Arbroath 5-1 and had a shocking defeat to division 3 side Elgin City. As you all know I am an optimist so let's look at the positives. The Dons have signed ex Inverness Caley winger Jonny Hayes who will provide pace and creativity in wide areas once he settles in. We have also signed Niall McGinn who looked really quick in the short time we saw him at Arbroath and yesterday we found out that Gary Naysmith will join the squad in Germany.
The ex hearts and Everton left back has also said he will try his best to win a permenant deal with the Dons. Aberdeen play there first game in Germany tommorow afternoon against VfB Alstatte who are in the German lower leagues, so let's hope for a win. I still think we need a proven goal scorer but let's get any mistakes out of our systems andstart the new SPL season with a bang. Now that I am back I will be keeping you up to date with all the preseaon tour and all the exitement of the first SPL season without Rangers. It would be great to here from all my followers again so give me a shout guys.COME ON YOU REDS!!!
