Let's take a look at the steps that have been made so far this summer to rebuild a dons side in great need of change.At the end of last season we could all see the changes needed but what has been done?. Well we've signed Rob Milsolm on a 2 year deal which is a great boost to the Dons midfield. We have also added big centre back Youl Mawene who will hopefully help sort out the defensive choas of last season.
We have also had a clear out of alot of the players who weren't committed to the red shirt. Saying that I think it was a mistake to get rid of derek young who was Aberdeen fc through and through with a good work rate on the pitch.
Gavin Rae is also a potential target but with Charlton Athletic also interested it's likely the bigger pay packet will keep him south of the border. The only other real transfer gossip we have has is the rumours of Russel Anderson knocking back a contract and the Spaniard Andoitz Galdos Gabas who was a product of the Athletic Bilbao youth set up now playing in the second division.
I still feel we need at least a midfielder another attacker and possibly a left back but only time will tell.
