Dons Coast To Next Round Of The Cup

Aberdeen eased in to the third round of the cup last night against lower league Alloa Athletic. As far as the score it was nice to see the Dons playing so well in the cup, although the cup jinx struck again with Zander and Frazer Fyvie both going off injured.

The Dons will find out the extent of the injuries soon with both players undergoing assesment today. On the brighht side Aberdeen made it 3 win in a row in all competitions. Standing top of the league and a good win in the cup keeping the momentum going.

Aberdeen skipper Paul Hartley got another penalty goal taking his tally to 4 along with Rory Mcardle getting his first goal for the Dons and Chris Maguire grabbing his first to. All in all it was a very professional and encouraging performance from an on form Dons side.

Lets just hope that the injuries picked up are not to serious and we see both Zander and Frazer back in action soon.
