Back to back wins for the Dons!!!
Aberdeen kept them self's at the top of the league yesterday after a late goal from Darren Mackie in Perth. The Dons started with the same team that beat Hamilton 4-0 last week and looked good for it. Aberdeen and St Johnstone pretty much cancelled each other out in the first half apart from a disaloud goal from big Andy Considine. In the second half the Dons looked far the better team with some good passing and a solid back line. Aluko again looked good and caused plenty of problems for the saints. Another debut Don, this time it was Scott Vervon who came off the bench with Darren Mackie.
It was only in the last five minutes that the Dons made the breakthrough when Sone Aluko kept in a lost cause to set up Darren Mackie for his first goal of the sason. More good signs with no goals conceded again and another 3 points. The same again on tuesday night against Alloa will do fine. Lets keep the ball rolling and march on in the cup as well as the league.
